Emma was setting up an abseil for the Scouts in Dalkey and said I could tag along. Unfortunately I got delayed in work and did not get there in time to help set up.

The abseil was set upon Yorkshire Pudding and as I guessed was tied off pretty much like a roped climb. The big difference being the caribeana was not hanging over the edge.

I learnt how to tie and use an Italian Hitch and how to correctly set up a figure of eight for the abseil, both left and right hand.
